So today in class my Euro teacher called me out for not paying attention in class.

Basically.

He was all like: “Do you understand what blahandblah means, insertnamehere?” in front of the class. A few minutes the entire class time prior to this question, I was gazing out the window and writing lovely words down in my ~creative writing~ journal.

So no, obviously I did not understand what blahandblah meant because I was not paying attention to your spoken words.

I promptly answered “Yesss” (because that is always the automatic response in class obviously) and proceeded to stare at him when he asked me to elaborate. I didn’t.

I am an adult now (yikes) and about to graduate in four months. I can make my own choices, rest assured. If I would rather search for glorious prose in this little fantastical, fiction world of mine than learn about Common Law, then so be it. I chose the latter today, and I did not regret it. I will do the same day after day in these upcoming months, and I will not regret it.

Please don’t try to make me.
